NOIR Curves

This DCTL offers a new approach to shaping the overall contrast curve of the image. Out of frustration over Resolve's built-in curves, I built this tool with two mandatory things in mind. Smooth transitions and parametric controls. With 4 bands plus additional highlight and shadow bands you are able to gently shape the tonal response of the image. Each individual band comes with adjustments for positions and smoothness.

On top of all of this you are able to decide if the saturation of the original image should be preserved and mix it in to taste. You are also able to add contrast specifically targeted towards the shadow regions. This is really useful to add some detail in the shadows without crushing them or affecting the rest of the image.

Another use case of the tool would be for example to just target lamps and tame some of the highlights, if they are too bright. It also works great the opposite way if you want to boost some highlights for HDR.
